Over reliance on Cahill?

While it seems to be Mikel Arteta who gains most critical acclaim for us,for me we lack something major when tiny isn`t playing...our upturn in fortune recently coincided with his return from injury. Isn`t it time some of the senior players `stepped up to the plate' and took some responsibility. Who do you think is best equipped? Or isnt there anyone else with the ability? Isnt it unhealthy to have such an over reliance on 1 man? And while I`m on the subject, is it the best £2.5 spent on any player ever? Thoughts? :?:

Well yes i think he is, but Roque Santa Cruz and Benni Mccarthy were only £5m for both of them put together soo..

I had my doubts about Cahill at beginning of season but he's been fantastic this season and yes we do seem to be relying on him alot lately. He was sorely missed against Fulham on Sunday and as you say no-one steppud up and took game by scruff of neck Sunday
