Aye, other than that one time when he went on a silly run from our own box and kick it straight to a Sheff Utd player he was solid. Seems like a prospect.

To be fair I don't think there's anyone in the league that our kids should be scared of playing against, it's not like they have Drogba or Rooney running at them!

It should give them a bit of confidence and bring them on. Look at Carroll last night he looked like he was really enjoying bossing the defenders arround!

I don't think Carroll has been beaten to a header all season yet. He rarely was in the premiership last season either.

Carroll was awesome again last night dominated a very very good pro in Morgan and only just pipped jose enrique to mom, Fuzzy did you notice the start of the 2nd half when Carroll played centrehalf for 5 minutes thats why i would have put him in there if we had no one else available last night

do you mean the bit where he won the ball played keepy up for a while, did the player then ran half of the pitch going past another few players Bill? Razz

he won a couple of important headers before he did that bob sat in when kadar was out of position but that was quite impressive too Razz

yeah i did, he's very good in defence, but i'd still prefer it if he stayed up front

too much of a handful for most defences in the CCC, i read somewhere that he was used at Left Back once for an academy game lol!
