I've not arranged it yet, but I've just put a press release up stating its due to start within the next 7 days. Just thought I'd drop a note here to remind everyone so get your teams sorted out in preparation for your first games.

Fixtures and so on will be up within the next few days. I might change it so league games are done on Sundays rather than Sundays and cup games are on Wednesdays, as when it got switched last season (before it was the other way round) there were a few whiners saying they didn't like it.

Any questions regarding the new season, input, suggestions, etc, please by all means fire away.

What's the league setup?

I think we only recruited one new team but unfortunately we've lost Nyrons Barmy Army from the top league so its probably going to be the same (three leagues of 9 sounds a bit dire to me over two leagues of 14).

If there is interest for three leagues of 9 instead though on here I'll put a poll up on the Xpert 11 league forum for people to vote and REGARDLESS of what I think, if people would prefer three leagues of 9 I WILL implement it.

However, just be aware that this would mean the people from the second division like Jimmy who got promoted would have to stay in the 2nd division so it has a knock on effect on everyone.

I'm not a dictator or owt, I just want everyone to be fully immersed in it so whatever helps to make the experience better I'll try it.

I've not put a poll up but more of a suggestion box type thing on the xpert forum too so if anyone wants to comment on that feel free. I'll check both that and this for input.

Sorry Revo, but it does look like most people would prefer the longer season, but if you can gather a petition on here and get em to say otherwise on the xpert thread then by all means, nothing is set in stone yet!

i think its more the number of teams. if wed managed to get 2-3 more players it would have been better but could only get the 1.

Aye, I said all along I'd change it to say 3 league of 12 or something if we got another 5 or 6 in but I couldn't find anyone else to join unfortunately.

Its a shame Ryan isnt about as well as he said he'd like to join. As did one or two others.
